Bootstrap Bonkers

I was going through my pictures when I found these, my first knitted pair of socks ‘appropriately’ named Bootstrap (original name) Bonkers. I couldn’t resist giving it that name since the yarn is mostly Zauberball® Crazy, with Lana Grossa Meilenweit (cuffs, toes and heels). The pattern is called Bootstrap from Lara Neel’s book – Sock Architecture.

I tried to make it match a little bit better by knitting the cuffs, toes and heels in solid Lana Grossa Meilenweit (green and purple), so here’s introducing my very own mismatched pair of socks.

I wore it briefly earlier in the year (I only finished it as we were approaching summer), and I intend to wear it loads this cold season. I found it fiddly at first knitting with such tiny strand but I soon got used to it.

More about it on my Ravelry page.
